Continuing Education

VSA offers Bay Area veterinarians multiple opportunities for continuing education throughout the year in a number of venues. Our major annual event is the Small Animal Symposium. Our own surgeons lecture on a variety of surgical topics, and complementary topics are covered by the clinicians of Veterinary Medical Specialists (VMS) as well as guests from the region and nation. All of our facilities host dinnertime rounds. These more informal gatherings generally consist of shorter topic presentations with a discussion session to follow. These dinnertime events provide an excellent opportunity for interfacing with regional colleagues, touring the VSA facilities, and becoming more familiar with our doctors and staff. VSA surgeons also speak at various regional veterinary association meetings during the year.

2009 Small Animal Symposium

Our 2009 Small Animal Symposium will be held at the South San Francisco Conference Center in South San Francisco on Sunday, March 22, 2009. We hope you will be able to join us there for this annual event.
